Tonight, Monday, March 23, is the Annual HOA Meeting at the Lakewood Clubhouse at 7pm. For all residents, we will be voting on amendments and a representative from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will be present to discuss traffic problems on Highway 360 and get your comments for their study on possible solutions.

This is also your opportunity to meet and elect board members and officers who volunteer their time to serve all the homeowners, and protect our investment in the Lakewood Homeowners Association. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting tonight.

Due to mail service delivery issues, we will be extending the discount for the yearly dues through the month of February.  Late charges will be waived through February for those who pay in full yearly.  If you pay quarterly or semi-annually there is no discount given.

Please note that the Lakewood Leader made an error in the January Newsletter regarding the annual meeting. They stated that it was scheduled for February 3.  A date for the annual meeting has not been set as of now. We will post on the website and send out notice to all homeowner’s once the date has been determined.

Come meet the candidates vying to be our first city council representative under the new 10-1 plan. The candidate forum will be held at the Lakewood HOA Clubhouse on Monday, October 6 at 6pm.

With the November 4 election only about a month away, this is a great opportunity to hear from the District 10 candidates before casting your vote.

The September HOA meeting is tonight, Tuesday, September 23, at 6:30pm at the community center. Monthly HOA meetings are normally on the first Monday of each month but the September meeting was changed due to scheduling conflicts.
