The street seal-coating that was scheduled for today and tomorrow for Hiridge Holllow, Hillside Hollow, Mesa Hollow, Deer Hollow, Johanne Court and Hideaway Hollow has been postponed due to the rain. We will reschedule it with the vendor and notify residents in advance of the new dates.

Many of the streets within the Lakewood community are owned by the HOA (excluding Lakewood Drive, Wallace Drive, Waldon Drive and a handful of others). We maintain these HOA-owned streets and put a new seal-coat on them approximately every three years or as needed should damage occur (weather, heavy trucks, etc.). To manage costs, we resurface about one-third of the streets each year on a rolling three-year cycle. Finding the right time to do the work is difficult in Austin because it can’t be too hot, too cold or wet for the sealcoat to stick properly.
