Crews from Austin Energy, the City of Austin’s electric utility, will come to Lakewood starting in about two weeks to prune or remove trees near electric lines. Before work starts, Austin Energy says it will try to contact each property owner with trees that might be affected and work with the owner to reach an agreement on work performed.
