Workers poured new plaster Friday on the floor and steps as the Lakewood pool renovation moves ahead. Once all plaster is installed, the pool will get an acid wash before it’s refilled with water next week. But more work will follow before the pool reopens. The crew then will treat the water with chemicals and brush the pool. Then the deck needs patching in places, the children’s pool will get a new fence, and the pool drain will be unclogged. There’s lots to do. The project is on track to open by the start of summer if the weather holds up!
